If you're looking for a long-term career with a company that values quality and invests in its employees, we'd love to meet you.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for an experienced Powder Coater to join one of our busiest and most important production departments. This is an opportunity for someone who takes pride in producing flawless finishes and understands that the final coating is what brings a project to life. From architectural components and custom retail displays to one-of-a-kind fabricated pieces, your work will be the final step that defines the quality our clients expect.

The ideal candidate has significant powder coating experience and understands every stage of the finishing process, from meticulous surface preparation through final cure and inspection. You know how proper pretreatment, part handling, film build, grounding, gun settings, curing temperatures, and quality control all work together to produce durable, beautiful finishes. You have an eye for color, texture, gloss, and consistency, and you don't settle for "good enough."

While powder coating will be your primary focus, experience with wet paint systems, color matching, primers, specialty coatings, and finishing a variety of substrates including steel, aluminum, wood, plastics, composites, and foam is a strong advantage.

Success in this role requires someone who is dependable, organized, and eager to contribute to a collaborative production environment. You show up ready to work, communicate well with your teammates, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and are always willing to help where needed. We value cross-training and continuous improvement, so you'll have opportunities to expand your skills across multiple fabrication and finishing processes.

If you enjoy working with your hands, take pride in producing exceptional work, and want to build a career instead of simply filling a position, we'd like to hear from you.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
You'll work independently and alongside a talented production team to deliver high-quality finished products that meet demanding customer specifications and production schedules. Your responsibilities will include preparing parts for powder coating by sanding, cleaning, masking, plugging, and hanging components for efficient processing. You'll operate powder coating equipment, adjust application techniques to achieve consistent coverage and film thickness, monitor curing cycles, and inspect finished products to ensure they meet our quality standards.

Depending on project requirements, you'll also assist with wet paint applications, primers, fillers, and specialty finishes. You'll organize work through the finishing department, document samples and processes, identify defects before products move downstream, and collaborate with fabrication, assembly, and project teams to ensure every project leaves the shop looking its absolute best.

WHAT YOU BRING
You have previous experience in powder coating or industrial finishing within a manufacturing or fabrication environment. You understand proper coating techniques, surface preparation, quality standards, and safe handling of finishing materials and equipment. You're detail-oriented, accountable, and capable of managing your time effectively while maintaining high production standards. Basic computer skills are helpful for accessing drawings, work instructions, and project documentation.

This position requires standing for extended periods, repetitive movement, lifting and moving materials, and safely operating hand tools, power tools, and finishing equipment. You'll work around paint products, powders, compressed air, curing ovens, and other manufacturing equipment where proper PPE and adherence to safety procedures are essential. Reliable transportation to work is required. A driver's license is not required.

JOIN OUR TEAM
If you're passionate about powder coating, enjoy producing work you're proud of, and want to be part of a team that values craftsmanship, quality, and continuous improvement, we'd love to hear from you.
